So, I'm just starting this "blog" thing. I figured it might help me out with my writing. I'm a pretty good writer as it is, but I could definitely get better at it - and what better place to start than here?!
I just started school last Monday, which I'm pretty thrilled about. I'm not so happy about the fact that I didn't start college right after I graduated high school - cause I really wish I did. But, I did have a lot of family issues going on then, and it's probably better off that I'm starting with a clear head. Anyways, in two more years I'll have my associates degree, and hopefully a CAREER shortly after that. I'm so sick of these little "jobs". I want a secure career with benefits, steady hours, and especially weekends off! Of course I'm also excited about furthering my education :) After these two years, my plans are to go back to school for my bachelors, and eventually my masters.
One thing that kind of annoyed me was the people in my class. Right now I'm taking a seminar class in this new college I'm in, which is like a beginner class, and by the way, I've already taken it in my previous college. Now tell me that doesn't suck! Anywho, the people in my class don't contribute to the class lessons at all. It's actually really awkward. Just imagine sitting in class while the teacher asks a question, and everyone just staring blankly in complete silence. Weird. Gladly though, My teacher keeps writing on my paper "thank you for talking and making the class lessons a little bit easier for me," because I'm the ONLY person that speaks up during the class. Thankfully, this class is only a month long and it will be over in two weeks!
That is one of the many things I love about my new college. Classes go all year round, and each class is only a month long. It is three days a week, four hours a day, BUT in my opinion, it's much better than going every day of the week!
That's it for my first blog. Hmm I wonder if anyone actually reads these things...?
